What We Do Education Nation is a unique program that facilitates donations to schools or any non-profit organization from local companies. The program is free of charge. Education Nation creates a unique barcode for each school or non-profit organization and provides it to the members. When the members purchase goods or services at participating businesses and display the barcode to the cashier, a percentage of up to 25% of that purchase is donated to the school or non-profit on a quarterly basis. You will enter minimal information along with the organization that you wish contribute to and a laminated card with your unique barcode will be delivered to your organization (in your name) for you to use and begin contributing to the organization of your choice. (Example) This is meant to be simple for you, beneficial for the organization you choose to sponsor through your donations and to the local businesses that will appreciate the loyalty of your patronage. Of course, given that the local business is generously donating a portion of your bill to your organization of choice, when using the barcode for the donation, it cannot be used with any other offers or discounts. Your Privacy Is Our Highest Priority At Education Nation, protecting your privacy is our priority. We will never request personal information (such as your Personal ID, Social Security Number, Account Numbers, PINs or Passwords). For your safety, we recommend that you do not share this information with anyone, at any time. Sharing such information potentially gives the recipient full access to your account. Giving Back Even More The businesses that are participating in this fund raising program have donated prizes to be given away to members who patronize their businesses. Those prizes include $50 dollar gift cards from the Gap, Target and other local retail stores. Participating businesses will advertise certain days through out the year that they will select a random winner who has patronized their business *on that day* to receive a gift card. The business manager will give the prize to the randomly selected winner on that day. If the winner is not chosen that day, the winner will be notified via e-mail and text by employees from Education Nation. The gift card will then be mailed to the winner.
